Our premier selection includes experiences from the FIFA World Cup and the Tour De France to skiing in the Swiss Alps and safaris in the Serengeti.

Nothing. It's completely free to list on travoom.

How do I list on travoom.com?
It's easy. Simply enter the details of your Experience, upload some eye-catching photos, and submit for publication within seconds. 

What types of Experiences can I list?
Experience packages revolve around major sports events and bucket list adventures. Package options include:

Spectator: packages that include tickets to a watch an event. For example, a 5 night Kentucky Derby package with tickets to see the races. You must be an officially designated agent or subagent to list a spectator package.

Participation: packages where the buyer takes part in an activity. For example, a 3 night Rafting Experience in Costa Rica's Pacuare River.

Observer: a participation package option most common in hunting and fishing experiences, where a buyer has the option to travel but not participate in the main activity. For example, a weeklong group fishing trip in Yellowstone National Park where only 5 out of 7 people will actually be fishing.

What must I include in an Experience listing?
Eye-Catching Photos: The most effective way of getting buyer attention is by having exceptional photos that showcase the experience you’re selling. Photographs of people taking part in the event or adventure can increase your transactions by an estimated 70%. While we require a minimum of 2 photos, we highly recommend using up all 24 image placeholders.

Accommodation: All Experiences must include accommodation and spectator packages must include spectator tickets. In addition, a detailed description, accurate itinerary, and trip dates are required.

Category: When listing a package you will be prompted to select a bucket list category. Note that subcategories can be found within a heading- for example, Torres del Paine and Machu PIcchu adventures are both found under Trekking. If an applicable category is not available, select “not available” and continue through the listing process. Our team of experts will curate your listing and create a new category if necessary.

What if my Experience category is not listed in the menu?
If your package does not fall under one of the available categories or subcategories go ahead and continue listing. One of our travoom experts will curate your listing and create a new category if need be.

Can I offer upgrade options for an additional cost?
Yes! You can include optional upgrades for buyers to add on to their total purchase directly from the website when they make a booking.

What types of images should I upload?
The images you choose are crucial to driving sales. Be sure the images are sharp, clear, vibrant, and correctly depict the Experience you are offering. Try to give potential buyers a sense of what the experience will be like if they book your package – people taking part in the event or activity, accommodation photos, meals, landscapes -- the more photos, the better! We highly recommend using all 24 photo spaces as they can increase your transactions by an estimated 70% Images larger than 45kB are recommended (700 dpi minimum).

Images with visible business names or branding are not allowed.

How do I map an Experience location that is in a remote area?
Try to get as close to your location as possible and add information about the remote area in the details of your listing.

Can I alter a listing after it's published?
Yes, you can go back and edit your listings as well as raise or lower your prices for future sales.

MANAGING SALES

How do I accept a booking?
You have the option of choosing between real-time or approval required booking confirmations.

Real-Time Booking Confirmations: bookings are automatically confirmed in real-time when the buyer makes a booking request.

Approval Required Confirmations: you manually accept or decline booking requests directly from your travoom seller dashboard

Your inventory and sales reports are all organized and accessible through your seller dashboard.

How much time do I have to respond to booking requests?
You are encouraged to respond to booking requests within 24 hours to secure sales.

How do I connect with confirmed buyers?
Buyers are able to contact you through our secure messaging system with or without having made a reservation by clicking the "Ask the Seller" button directly on your listing. For the purpose of maintaining the security and reliability of the travoom community, we ask that you keep all communication within travoom.com's secure messaging system where you have the ability to flag any messages you deem inappropriate. You will have the details to contact a buyer directly for the purpose of coordinating check-in on the ground only once a booking is confirmed.

IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO SHARE COMPANY DETAILS AND CONTACT INFORMATION DIRECTLY WITH USERS. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN EXPULSION & BANISHMENT FROM THE TRAVOOM NETWORK.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Can sellers cancel a reservation?
Sellers are not able to cancel a reservation. Force Majeure cancellations result in a full refund to a buyer (excluding service fees).

Can buyers cancel a reservation?
Buyers are subject to the following cancellation policy:

If a Buyer cancels:
…at least 90 days prior to experience start date they receive a full refund minus deposit & service fees.
…between 90-60 days prior to experience start date they receive a 50% refund minus service fees
…between 60-0 days prior to experience start date they receive NO refund.

No refunds for spectator experience packages that include tickets.

What are Force Majeure Cancellations and how do they work?
Force Majeure cancellations are cancellations you are forced to make due to circumstances out of your control. For example, a natural catastrophe that impedes the safe delivery of your service (e.g. surfing cancellation due to tsunami). The qualification of a cancellation as Force Majeure is up to the discretion of travoom.com.

travoom.com allows users to share and rate their experience with you. Positive reviews can help promote your packages to other potential buyers.

Easy. Choose your experience, the dates, and number of people then continues to your payment page to submit your booking.

What are upgrades?
Upgrades are package options for an additional cost. For example: hotel upgrades, ticket upgrades, or photo souvenir options.

Can I make a reservation on behalf of someone else?
Yes, BUT make sure you tell the seller so that they know who to expect at check-in.

How do I know a reservation is confirmed?
You will receive a confirmation message letting you know that your reservation has been accepted by a seller.
As a rule, a seller has 72 hours to respond to your reservation request, while most respond that same day.

How do I contact an Experience seller?
travoom.com's proprietary messaging system allows for convenient and responsible communication between buyers and sellers. An "Ask the Seller" button appears on every travoom.com listing, allowing you to contact sellers directly with any questions. Current messaging conversations and conversation histories are accessible on your dashboard. To encourage an honest environment, both buyers and sellers are able to "flag" a message they consider inappropriate. We only release your direct contact information to the seller when a booking is confirmed for the purpose of coordinating check-in on the ground.

What are important things to confirm with an Experience seller?
Make sure you read the details of what's included in your Experience package before you make a booking and if there are any limitations to your participation. Once you're set, coordinate the check-in details with the seller.

How do I redeem my Experience Package?
To redeem your Experience package, you must coordinate the check-in process with the seller.

PAYMENT PROCEDURES

How do I pay?
You pay directly online from the Experience listing page using Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or PayPal. Wires and checks are accepted too (contact sales@travoom.com for information on these payment methods).

Is my payment information secure?
Yes. We use 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology for secure Internet Protocol (IP) transactions.

Does the price include taxes?
There are no taxes added to the listed price.

Are there any service fees?
Yes, a 5% service fee is added to the cost of an Experience in order to cover credit card processing fees and cover the cost of curating the website.

When will I be charged for my reservation?
You will be charged for your reservation once the seller confirms the booking.

Does travoom.com collect a deposit?
No. All payments are collected in full at the time of purchase.

Can I pay with any currency?
All transactions are processed in United States Dollars (USD).

Can I change my payment method after I've created an account?
Yes. You can change your payment method by updating the details in your account.

Do I get a receipt or reservation confirmation?
Once a booking is accepted by a seller, a confirmation email and receipt is sent to you.

What if my credit card expires before my reservation?
You are responsible for providing a valid form of payment at the time of purchase in order to confirm a booking.

Do I have to pay anything to the Experience seller in person?
No. For your security, all buyer/seller transactions must go through travoom, including additional on the ground purchases. The cost of your specified experience is completely covered through your travoom.com transaction.

CANCELLATION POLICY

What is the cancellation policy?
If a Buyer cancels:
…at least 90 days prior to Experience start date they receive an 80% refund minus service fees.
…between 90-60 days prior to Experience start date they receive a 50% refund minus service fees
…between 60-0 days prior to Experience start date they receive NO refund.

There are no refunds for spectator Experience packages that include tickets.

Sellers are not able to cancel a reservation.

Force Majeure cancellations will result in a full refund to the buyer (excluding service fees).

Can I cancel a pending reservation request?
If you wish to cancel a pending reservation request you can send an email to support@travoom.com.

What if my Experience gets canceled due to uncontrollable events?
Force Majeure cancellations will result in a full refund to the buyer (excluding service fees).

If a spectator event is rescheduled, your spectator package is still valid for the rescheduled dates.

How can I leave a review?
travoom.com allows you to rate and comment on the Experience you had with a seller and help future buyers (like yourself!) choose the perfect Experience.
